Shockabuku

In shockabuku Lucas has invented the timer and they are now sliding. (see Kit's bio) Between here and there Kitty kills Macie, whom they met up with at about their third slide.

Blink
Lucas looked over towards his wife. She was sitting on the chair not too far from him.

"Kitty? Are you OK?" Lucas wanted to know. He got no answer. "Kitty?" She lifted her head. Her eyes glowing with a yellow tint to her recently normal green. She stood up and walked to Lucas' side. Her smile grew wicked as her hand shot for his throat. Lucas gasped as he looked again. Silver horns sprouted from her head and a pair of red wings hung from her back. His vision then blackened as his life slipped away…

Lucas shot up gasping for breath. 'Shit now he was having nightmares' Kitty sat up beside him.

"Are you OK?" she asked looking curiously at her husband. "I thought I heard you breath in…wait that doesn't sound right…never mind I must be imagining things…good night." She laid back down. Lucas mumbled something even he couldn't hear. "OK I know I heard you that time. And what did you mean by just don't kill me?"

Shinigami's Return

When we last heard from the unstable trio, Simoriah had just killed Shinigami, and single handedly saved Lucas and Kitty from perilous doom…well almost perilous…ok! Ok! So they were just lost in the palace…but it could have been perilous! There were rocks and stuff. Any way they are now residing in the capsule corp. until further notice…
"Hey Lucas," Kitty whispered hoping her husband was still awake.
"What," he mumbled calmly.
"I…We need to talk."
"What for?" He still didn't face her.
"I…I'm getting worried. About my Y'know, uh, mental state." The words could barely fit through her closing throat.
"Kitty." he said with annoyance finally rolling over. "We've been through this before. Insane people don't question their sanity."
"Yeah, yeah I know. I just…I just think I may be endangering everyone by staying here."
"Are you thinking about running away again, because you know I'll just find you."
"Yes I do. I'm still worried. Remember when I lost it? It wasn't like all the other times. Then I just feel silly y'know kinda like being stupid and stuff. But this time I didn't feel like that. I just felt…Powerful. Like I could destroy the world with just my will. And…I liked it. No, that's a lie. I loved it! It was a sensation I had never felt before, I never wanted to lose it. Then at the same time it scared me. That must have been the only thing that stopped me long enough for Simoriah to knock me out." She swallowed. "I…I…" Kitty repeated her eyes faded into a solid black. A color Lucas hadn't seen them in years. She began to shake violently as she curled into a small ball her breathing more rapid than her heart beat.
"Kitty?" Lucas replied worried. He got no answer. This was not like her. Lucas tapped his wife. The only response he got was her rocking. "Oh shit."
Kitty opened her eyes. White engulfed the scenery around her. She sat up rubbing her head. What the? Kitty stood up and dusted herself off. Rubbing her deep brown eyes she began to grow worried. Where was everyone? She walked further through the everlasting corridors until finally she hit a dead end…HARD. Kitty whimpering held her nose.
"Nice of you to join me." growled an evil voice. Kitty whipped around still grasping her sore nose.
"No." she mumbled. Across from her stood, well, her. Only with silver horns and red wings. "Who?"
"I'm you, of course." The voice sounded familiar.
"No. No. No. It can't… S-Simoriah killed you," Kitty stumbled shaken and backing into the wall. A verge of fear filled her every bone. Her eyes were either fully dilated or black as nothingness. She fell to her knees moisture pouring from every part of her body. Especially below the waistline. Her breathing was so fierce she would hyperventilate. She tried to straighten up. "I know what your doing." She strained from her chattering teeth. "Last time you got me with happiness. Now you're trying fear, but it won't work."
"It already is." Kitty froze.
"Simoriah!" Lucas burst through the door almost earning a belt in the head. He managed to duck in time.
"How dare you disturb my slumber?" she sounded more like an angry genie than a Saiyan.
"It's Kitty!" Lucas exclaimed.
They traveled to the next room and he unrolled her.
"Is she dead?" Sim asked backing away.
"No she's still breathing. I think… I think her mind snapped."
"I'll have to go in after her. You stay here…"
"No." Lucas argued. "I'm coming too."
"If you come you realize we'll both be nothing but empty shells. If something happens…"
"We may die. I know the drill."
"Fine. Have it your way."

They did manadge to free Kit from this evil foce, but only for the time being. Shinigami promised to leave her alone if they didn't tell Kitty he was inside. Lucas was the one who sealed the deal.

Shockawhat?
Lucas and Kitty sat up at the same time sweat pouring from them both. They look to each other and jumped as Lucas fell to the floor.
"Did you just dream…" Kitty began once her voice returned.
"That you had become Shinigami and tried to kill everyone. Yes."
"The last time we did that war broke out." A gust of awkward silence filled the room.
"I'm starting to get worried. What if Shinigami never died? What if he was just put to sleep for a while? Damn it I knew it was too easy. You stabbing him in the back was too easy…" Kitty's voice grew uneven. Lucas put a sympathetic hand on his wife's arm.
"Are you shaking?" He asked as her vibrations massaged his palm.
"Must be cold or something…" she mumbled. At that moment Lucas knew what he had to do.
"Kitty," he said trying his best to smile. "It was just a dream. Shinigami is dead and we both know it. You're only torturing yourself this way. Let it go." Kitty relaxed giving him a smile. Only it wasn't her smile. Her smiles were cheerful and could warm the deepest ocean; this one was just idiotic. He had never seen her that way before. He knew at that moment that he had just lost the only woman he had ever loved, and this woman that so ignorantly lay beside him was just the shell of what she used to be.
"You're right Lucas," her voice lost all its spunk yet it still remained cheerful. "You're absolutely right." She rolled over and sighed drifting to sleep. Lucas rolled over too. Only he did it because he couldn't bare look at her face. The last thing he ever said to the woman he loved and (even if it were accidentally) married wasn't 'I love you' or 'I would give up all I had for your safety' it was an all out lie. The first and last lie he had ever muttered to Kitty. A lie that would haunt him forever until he could make things right again. "All because of Shinigami." he thought his face hardening. It was to blame. Now it had to pay…

That morning…

"Hey Simoriah!" Kitty yelled from across the room. "Do we have any more bed sheets?"
"I don't know why?" she was almost afraid to ask.
"I think we may need a new one." was all Kitty would say. A few seconds had passed when all of the sudden an angered voice arose from the bedroom. It even made Sim cringe.
"KATHERIN!" This was the first time Sim had heard Lucas (or anyone else for that matter) call Kitty by her real name. At that Kitty, her deep green eyes filled with pure joy, bound away.
When Lucas came out she couldn't suppress her laughter. A scarlet red face accommodated by wet boxers filled her eyes. Lucas full of more anger than she had ever seen tossed a bowl of warm water into her face. She immediately stopped laughing.
"That's it!" Lucas' voice was loud cold and harsh. "I am not taking any more of this! From this day forward Alexandere Katherin Berlow is not nor ever will be my wife or friend! Put that in writing! And also write down this! She is never ever allowed back into this capsule corp. as long as I am still here!"
"What do I look like? A secretary?" Sim said managing to keep her voice low. "And anyway the last time I checked this was my capsule corp. Now it was only a harmless joke, and I for one thought it was pretty damn funny. So sit down! Quit whining! And shut up!" Well she almost managed to stay calm. Lucas' face got even redder. If that was even possible. Not the reaction Sim had expected.
"That's it I'm outta here!" Lucas bellowed.
"And where are you going to go?" Sim wanted to know. "The last time I looked outside this place was a desert. And we're stuck here until you fix the timer." Sim settled down. Lucas gave her the look, which didn't seem to phase her much. He stormed back into the bedroom afterward.
A few moments had passed. Lucas came back out wearing fresh clothes. No words were exchanged as he sat down at the table and began to work. Just then Kitty as happy as could be bounded in. She sat on the table next to Lucas.
"Whatcha doin?" she asked in a more than annoying manner.
"None of your business."
"Why not?" Lucas gave her a cold look then continued his work. Normally at that Kitty would have been crushed, but now she felt even more a need to press on. She grabbed the timer and ran.

Lucas finally lost his breath. He had been chasing Kitty for an hour now and she still managed to slip from his grasp.
"Wha dija stop for?" she asked only four feet away waving the timer triumphantly in the air.
"That's…it…" he said between breaths. "I'm…tired…of…this…this…" he couldn't finish but it was clear he was angry. Kitty frowned.
"And I thought you'd be more fun than this," Kitty whined, throwing the timer out the nearest window. At that Lucas' energy seemed to swiftly return.
"What in HELL did you do that for?" he yelled jumping back to his feet.
"You wouldn't play with me." A sly grin filled her face while her deep green eyes twinkled.

After Lucas retrieved the timer from outside he began to work on it again. He had almost had it finished when Kitty took it from him.

Shinigami
Kitty cautiously gripped her fuzzy surroundings. Flaming roses fell all
around her. The room itself was dark but a pleasant smell filled it. It must have been a dream. One of her nicer ones she hoped. The blazing flowers were a nice touch. In the distance Kitty heard a voice. Lucas was calling her. But why? She followed the echo until she could see him. His back was turned to her.
"What did you want?" Kitty asked he didn't seem himself. Lucas began to laugh. As the laugh droned on it grew deeper and more evil.
"Your soul." Suddenly Lucas whipped to face his prey. Only it wasn't Lucas anymore. It was a creature it looked like a goat that had been merged with a man. Blood dripped from its horns as if it had just used them. To kill.
"What have you done with Lucas!" Kitty shouted forgetting it was a dream all together.
"Nothing worse than what I'm going to do with you." The monster growled. He backed away revealing two messily devoured bodies. Kitty couldn't recognize the faces nor did she want to. Though she knew straight away who they were. Kitty swallowed and turned away.
"Why?" she wanted to know. "Why did you do this to them?"
"I didn't. You don't remember." Kitty squeezed her eyes shut. Flashes filled her mind. Flashes of her killing them then pledging an allegiance to this, this thing. Shinigami.
"Come my dark bride. You have served me well." Kitty opened her eyes again. A black gown enveloped her. Blood red lace filling it's cloth. Yet somehow this monstrosity of evil appalled her. Somehow it felt right. Her instincts told her to run away but her heart told her to give all to this monster of monsters. This demon, no, god of evil was to whom she was born to serve. Yes, yes, YES! SHINIGAMI WAS HER TRUE LOVE!
Lucas sat up stretching his tired limbs. He hadn't slept at all last night.
He kept having this weird nightmare. This thing with a goat's head kept
trying to make him kill everyone. It was really strange. He rolled to wake up Kitty only to see she had already left.
"Now where the hell is she?" he asked himself as he pulled on the nearest shirt. Half asleep he wandered through the capsule corp. The place seemed so much bigger now than before. Suddenly smoke filled the air above him.
"FIRE!" he shouted running to the source.
Kitty was standing at the table tossing a plate of burned rotten eggs and raw bacon at Simoriah's face. Lucas breathed a sigh of relief.
"What the hell is this?" Sim asked her nose twitching.
"Breakfast." Kitty answered solemnly. Her voice sounded empty and cold.
"Gee, you're the regular gourmet," Lucas replied. Pay back. Kitty didn't bother to look up. She seemed preoccupied with something.
"If I didn't know any better I'd think you were trying to poison me," Sim laughed. Kitty chuckled, but for some reason it didn't sound normal. It was like she hadn't laughed in years, possibly decades. Lucas grew worried. Sim seemed to notice the change too.
"I had the strangest dream last night," Lucas took a seat next to Sim. Kitty didn't answer. "This goat thing kept trying to get me to kill everyone."
"Really?" Sim sounded less than amused. "I had the same dream." The two looked to Kitty. She wasn't facing them anymore. Instead she seemed preoccupied with something in the fridge.
"What about you Kitty?"
"Can't say that I did."
"You're kidding?" Sim quipped. "You're the most receptive of all of us. You keep telling those stories about being partially telepathic and how your dreams almost always come true. Lucas and I share the same reverie and you…"
"I said," Kitty interrupted her tone grew threatening. "I didn't have the damn dream." They both jumped back a bit. This was the first time Kitty, of all people, had cursed…in front of them anyway. It was kind of unsettling.
"Ok, ok, Sim was just trying to make a little early morning conversation that's all. Nothing to get upset about." Lucas defended.
"I'm not." Silence.
After breakfast, which was never actually eaten, Kitty disappeared. Lucas was ready to look for her, but Simoriah stopped him.
"Didn't you find Kitty's behavior a little, how can I put this lightly, screwed up?"
"Yeah so?"
"So, I think she may be possessed."
"Possessed? You're kidding me?"
"No."
"How can she be possessed? You need something dead for that. It's probably just that time of the month that's all."
"Lucas, Lucas, Lucas," Sim sighed. "Denial is such an ugly thing."
"Denial? I'm not under denial. You're just paranoid. Now I'm going to find Kitty, and when I do, you will see that there's nothing to worry…" Sim's eyes widened a little.
"Duck!" She yelled knocking him to the ground. A razor sharp blade sliced into the air, and lodged itself into the wall four feet away. A shadowed figure dashed out of the room.
"Holy shit! That could have killed me!" Lucas exclaimed.
"I think that was the point," Sim grumbled at his stupidity.
"You saved me?"
"Yeah, so, don't make me regret it now."
"And all this time I thought you hated me."
"Don't flatter yourself." Sim yanked the knife from the wall. "I only did it so I could kill you. Now let's go while she's on the move."
"While who's on the move?" Kitty asked from behind. The two jumped.
"Kitty!"
"Who else?"
"But you were… I mean…you just…how in the hell did you get to THIS side of the room!" Sim freaked.
"I used the door. Why is there a hole in the wall?" She just noticed it.
"Because you threw a knife at us!"
"Sim, I told you there was nothing wrong with Kitty." Lucas walked up to his wife.
"No Lucas, it's a trick!" Too late. Kitty knocked the man out cold.
"Now it's your turn…" she began. Simoriah did the first thing that came to mind. She backhanded her. After all, possessed or not, it was still Kitty. The brunette was knocked back a couple of feet. She shook her head as if trying to come out of a trance. Sim decided to help her along.
"Kitty! Kitty! Can you hear me?" Kitty grasped her head.
"Too…much…" she fell to her knees. "Evil…can't…think…" She looked to Sim her eyes flashing from black to red. "Make it stop!" she pleaded. Sim just stood, awe struck. "Pitiful human!" a voice exclaimed from Kitty's throat. A green essence ruptured from her body as she screeched in pain. "Until next time my queen." The voice came again. Kitty passed out. Simoriah swallowed, she couldn't help but feel that that message was for her.

I wrote a story that ended up the sliding chapters. Shockabuku Goes West. I still have yet to type out the ending which is at oni-chan's home. When I do it will occupy this space.
