Shockabuku Tasukaru

Kuro finally goes to Sim and Trin's new planet and leaves Mage and Page at the palace. He has a cabin built for himself and lives there.

Super Knight?

Kuro sat…well, more like leaned, in the chair. His feet were propped onto the table.
"Darn," he muttered staring at the piece of paper in his hand. "What's a six letter word for murder..?"
"Admit it! You have feeling for her!" Page exclaimed a she and Mage paced in.
"I do not."
"You do too!"
"The only feelings I have for her are homicidal."
"Thanks!" Kuro called out to them as they left. He filled it in. "Wait a minute!" He barged into the next room.
"Feelings? 'Bout who?" he sounded intrigued.
"Mage's got a crush," Page made fun.
"Do not."
"On who?" Kuro grinned.
"Queen Trinity. She walked past and he stared her ass off for an hour." Mage blushed and sat down. "I'm surprised he didn't have an…"
"Shut-up! Besides it wasn't for a whole hour…"
"Way to go Mage!" Kuro cheered hitting him playfully on the shoulder. A little too hard though, Mage fell out smacking his head onto the rock floor.
"Oh my God you killed him!" Page shouted.
"No wait! He's ok, look he's trying to get up!" Kuro spouted nervously as he helped the boy to his feet. "You all right kiddo?" Mage shrugged him off and attempted to stand on his own…he lost balance.
"Shit that hurt." He whined now touching the place where his head had greeted the floor. He looked cross-eyed at his blooded hand and passed out.
"Guess not."
later that day...
"Kuro? Are you sure Mage is ok?" Page wondered.
"Fairly…why?"
"He just burst into my room yelling 'The world must pay consequences'." Just then Mage dashed in like a high strung cat. In his hand was a…plastic butter knife?
"Shh. I think the world's in hiding." he whispered.
"Damn."
"Now what do I do with this? I know!" He ran up to Page.
"Don't touch me with that thing!"
"No problem."
"And don't throw it at me either!"
"Ok, now we have a problem."
"Mage? Am I going to have to find some medical assistance for you?" Kuro approached him. He ran out just as quickly as he had run in.
"Damn…" Kuro mumbled again. "Well, lets go find him, shall we?"
the search
Kuro walked into the meeting room. Mage was standing in Trinity's chair.
"There you are. Get down before some one sees…"
"Mister!" Mage exclaimed. He flipped from the furniture to the table next to the android…four feet away from Trin's chair. "Your standing in hot lava!"
"I am?" he looked down at the red carpet.
"Ahh! Your feet are burning off!"
"They are?!" he decided to play along. "Ow! Ow! Ow!" he pranced around a bit until jumping on the table himself.
"That was close," Mage breathed. After that Trinity walked in.
"Oh no! Now her feet are burning off too!"
"Hot lava," Kuro mouthed pointing to the floor.
"They can't be. I'm wearing my special flame retardant anti-lava boots. Complete with matching gloves."
"You are?"
"Mmhm."
"Wow, I gotta get me a pair of those."
"You may not have to, look!" Kuro pointed at nothing. "That iceberg is crashing into us! It's hardening the lava!" He jumped down. "I can stand on it!"
"Excellent! Just how I had planned!" Mage did another flip off the table. "Another crisis diverted by dut da da DA! Super Knight! Hurray!" Before Kuro could snatch him Mage left the room.
"Fast little devil."
"Super Knight?" Trinity repeated.
"Don't ask me? He's the one who came up with it."
the search:take two
Mage dashed to Sim and Gohan. The boy was covered in tinfoil and had a white towel tied around his neck.
"Me lady!" He kissed Sim's hand. "I'll save you from this menace. Engardé." He pulled a yard stick from his pants and waved it franticly in front of the black haired man's face. "Ha HA! I am too fast for you!" he said with a French accent. Gohan raised an eyebrow. "A sword will not harm you! Then I will use…" He pointed to his eyes. "My laser vision!" Mage squinted. "Oh no! My laser vision does not harm you either." He did a very bad William Shatner impression. "Must…use…reinforcements." He dropped the accents altogether. "RUN LIKE HELL!" he commanded his arms in the air as he zoomed away.
They gawked a moment then Gohan looked at his wife expectantly.
"Sim?"
"All of the sudden it's my fault!"
"It's always your fault!"
She was about to retaliate but changed her mind.
"Actually you have a point there."
"Guys!" Kuro ran up to them. "You wouldn't happen to have seen Mage around would you?"
"Which one's Mage?"
"The boy."
"Y'know, the one who just ran through here in tinfoil." Sim explained.
"Damn," Kuro whined. He took off running again.
the capture
"Log date 2 4 8 7 3 6 9.5½," Mage dodged behind one of the palace columns. "I Super Knight have been asked to complete an important mission. To seek out new and primitive life-forms."
"Mage, It's about time I found you." Page saw him.
"Short trip."
"Why are you covered in tinfoil?" Mage's crystal blue eyes widened. He knocked his sister down to the ground.
"Get down lady!" he cried as he watched an invisible arrow fly over her. "Gee, that was close." Page looked like the wind had been knocked out of her.
"Mage!" Kuro called out. Behind him was Trinity, Simoriah, and Gohan. Mage looked at them like they were an army of darkness.
"Ha HA! You will never capture the great Super Knight!" He whipped around and ran…into the column he had been hiding behind not so long ago. A goofy look crossed his face, his eyes rolled back, and he spun to the ground.
"Mage!" A moment passed. The teen groaned and tried to sit up.
"What happened?"
"Never mind are you ok?" Page asked as she slowly began to breath again.
"Yeah." Once again the android helped him to his feet. He smiled weakly at the audience surrounding him, then looked down at himself. "Why am I covered in tinfoil?"

Lex finally finds him and recaptures him to finish the andriods programming. She sends Andriod Assassin Lucas in to lure him into her clutches. Lucas claimed he had just escaped from Lex and Shinigami. He told Kuro he'd take him to Kitty's nemesis. Kuro didn't trust him…and for a good reason. As soon as he turned his back Lucas double crossed him.

Honey?

Kuro smiled at his captors. They were covered head to toe with high-tech black armor. He tugged once again at the shackles on his wrists. No use.
"So, what're you guys anyway?" he asked them. No answer. "Humans? Saiyans? Androids?" He helped out, silence. "Something with a voice box perhaps?" They ignored him as he was pushed into what looked like the main control room. A memorable visage was on his way out. "Hey Lucas!" The silver haired man looked his way. "Can you do something for me? Get this knife outta my back. You may need it again." Kuro growled half heartedly. The android just went on his way. The guards lead Kuro to a chair that was facing a vid-screen. A planet could be seen in the distance.
"Beautiful isn't it?" a recognizable voice hissed. She swiveled around.
"Hello Lex," Kuro bowed in mock respect.
"Lex the controller!" she corrected, then cleared her throat. "I see you've found your true form. Bravo." She looked to the guards. "Leave us." They did without question. "Have a seat." A chair materialized from nowhere.
"No thanks, that's how it all starts. I take a seat and the next thing you know it's twenty years later and I've destroyed an entire population in your name just because you were bored. Why can't you just take up a nice hobby or something?"
"Still haven't lost you sense of humor."
"Still haven't lost your bitchiness." Lex frowned.
"You know, I had hoped you would be more helpful."
"Why should I?" Lex spun back to the planet.
"Don't you recognize it?" Kuro looked herder, then gasped.
"Planet Vegeta! You wouldn't!" Lex rose an eyebrow. "You would…what do you want?"
"Cooperation."
"Why?"
"Well it's obvious that no matter how many times I reprogram you, you'll always repair yourself. I thought I'd try a different approach." She looked back at the planet. "Everyone you care about is so conveniently clustered into one place down there. Pity if something should 'happen' to them." She fingered a little red button at the chair's arm. "Such a pity."
"Ok, you have my collaboration. Do I have your word you wont do anything to them?"
"Of course."
"How come it isn't making me feel any better?"

Kuro was, not so gently, shoved into a cell.
"Damn…" Kitty inwardly whined. "What the hell do we do now?"
"Escape."
"And how are we supposed to do that?"
"Simple," Kuro raised his arm. "Blast the door away."
He did this, the next thing he knew the place was being flooded with guards. One by one he plucked them off. In doing so he quickly made his way through the hallways and spied a man who looked important.
"Take me to your leader," he commanded the neuro-pulsar cannon aimed itself onto the black haired mans neck. Everyone backed away. "Now."

"Lex," Kuro growled, keeping the mortar pressed firmly onto the hostage's skin.
"Kuroneko," she smiled. "I thought we had a deal?"
"We do. I just thought I'd up the stakes a bit."
"Shinigami, honey, are you going to let a mere machine hold you up like this?"
"Shinigami honey?" Kuro repeated.
"Sweetie, I really don't feel like dieing again." he whined…whined?
"You're married!" Kuro shouted with disgusted horror, not to mention surprise.
"You find that hard to believe?"
"Yeah, evil people need love too. OW!" Kuro burrowed the weapon further into his appendage.
"What the hell did ya do to 'em?" He blamed Lex.
"The same thing you did to Lucas." she smirked. "Or should I say, Katherin did to Lucas." Oh, now Kitty took over.
"The only thing I did to Lucas was love him!" she yelled.
"Kitty, how nice of you to join us." Lex crooned. Kuro shook his head as he regained control.
"Don't do that!" he yelled at her.
"Sweet-heart," Shini looked at his wife pleadingly. "Find out what the hell he wants."
"Shut-up, honey," Lex answered through her teeth.
"This is just TOO weird!" He thrusted the man into Lex's desk.
"Ow! careful, this body's fragile!" The android was now utterly confused.
"What's the matter? Getting an overload?" she said that as if it were expected. Kuro could even feel the circuits in his head shorting.
"Data…not sufficient. System terminal…shut-down." Kuro found himself saying.
"The problem with computers is they're so easy to bug."
"It's about time that virus kicked in." Shini added. Ah hell, black out.

Kuro returned to the land of the living with a jolt. He lay there a moment and began to rub his closed eyes…something wasn't right. He looked at his hand. A red sticky substance covered it, as well as himself. He glanced around the room as he slid off the bed he had been strapped to. SQUISH
"Eeeeww." Kuro shivered. He didn't even look down. "Did I do this?" he wondered seeing the fresh corpses. His clothes were plastered to his body with blood glue. "Damn." His memory slowly returned…
flash back
A strange feeling came over him. His body morphed. Wings sprouted from his back, tail growing with them. An overwhelming power controlled him. Death befell them all. No escape.
flash forward
"I rock!" Kuro exclaimed as he made his way through the dead garden. On his way out he stopped by the main control room. To his luck it was empty. He jacked himself in and began a self destruct sequence. "Now ta find a pod and get outta here." He pulled at his no longer black shirt. "I need a shower."

Kuro leaves and starts sliding again to get away fromm Planet Vegita. He's afriad Lex may decide to harm them.

Til death do ya part

"Is thar anythin' I kin do fer ya?" the midget auto mechanic asked. Lucas smiled.
"Yeah," he pulled out his gun. "Notify your next of kin." POW.

"Damn!" Kuro burst, seeing the liquid dripping from his fingers. It burned holes into the carpet as it fell. "I'm leaking again!" It was times like these Kuro wished he hadn't left Planet Vegeta. After dropping the twins off he couldn't bring himself to stay. He left without saying good bye…which wasn't really that unusual. "Time to visit Big Bob again."
Putting his leaking hand into a container he fashioned from an old car engine, he made his way out.

Two blocks down from Big Bob's automotives, he could see yellow tape surrounding the fresh crime scene.
"Damn." he had been saying that a lot lately. Kuro would've hyper-drived on down there, but he needed to conserve juice.
By the time he made it, his container was getting a little full.
"What happened?" Kuro asked on of the cops.
"Nothin' jus' go on 'bout yer business." he shooed Kuro away. Planet Mayberry wasn't exactly the most exciting planet in the universe, but when something did happen the press was right there. Five microphones were shoved into Kuro's face as he turned around…along with five hundred questions.
"Look isn't that Elvis?!" Kuro pointed. Everyone turned that direction as he ducked under the yellow tape and dashed inside Big Bob's.
Little Bob, Big Bob's hulking six foot three, two hundred pound twin brother, stood over Big Bob's body.
"Aww man," Kuro censored himself. Swearing here was against the law…if anyone heard you that is.
"Why Big Bob?" Little Bob sulked rushing up to Kuro and wrapping him in a death hug.
"I don't know," the android answered patting Little Bob's side. He couldn't reach the guy's back. Little Bob backed off, took a deep breath, and swallowed.
"So what kin I do fer ya?"
"I'm leaking again," he showed Little Bob his contained hand.
"What about Big Bob?"
"The sheriff'll take em up an autopsy em," Little Bob pointed to the body that was being taken away. "Can't let a little thin' like that slow down business. That's what Big Bob always a said." They sat down and took a look. "It ain't as bad on me as it tis on Mrs. Big Bob, she be a widower now."
"Sorry to hear that." He couldn't wait until Little Bob finished with him. Not that h didn't care…actually it was because he didn't care. Despite it all though Kuro was going to miss Big Bob. The little guy did a great job fixing him when he first arrived. The only auto mechanic in town who didn't freak out when his head fell off.
"Thar that should do it." Kuro flexed his fingers.
"Wow great job," he was surprised. Little Bob smiled. POP. His head fell to the table. Kuro jumped back.
"My aims' defiantly improved," replied a familiar voice.
"Lucas?" The suited assassin appeared. "Damn man! What're you doin' here, killin' people for? There're cops outside!"
"So," Lucas shrugged.
"So! You wanna get arrested?"
"Are you kidding? I wouldn't last five minutes in jail." He tossed the gun to Kuro, who instinctively caught it. "You're going for me."
"Freeze!" the cops yelled. He dropped the weapon and looked back to where the real killer was. Lucas was gone.
"Damn…oops."

Meanwhile, it's four years later. The twins found him and decided to fix him. After all he did take care of them first. In a search for supplies they met up with Flux the GELF H. B. he agreed to allow them use his ship's equipment to repair the shut-down Kuroneko. We now join them on that ship, the Endurance.
PS: Flux knows the Kuro used to be Kitty, his former captain.

Metamorphosis

The Endurance hovered over the dusky planet. The Captain stared at the metallic swirls blocking the giant rocks surface.
"This is the location of the distress?" Flux asked his second in command. Aquene nodded.
"Yes, sir."
"No possible humanoid life form can exist within it's atmospheric surface. Even a suit would deteriorate. How shall a rescue be performed?"
"I haven't a clue, sir." Flux thought a moment.
"I know of a way," he added brightly.

Kuro looked at his reflection. Women had been hitting on him all day. He was cute, but he wasn't a heart throb. KNOCK KNOCK!
"Yeah?" Kuro called out giving himself one last look over before heading to the door. Before the GELF H. B. could answer the door swung open. He jumped back in surprise-then whipped around.
"My apologies to your breach in privacy."
"Breach in privacy?" Kuro wondered then remembered he was wearing just a thong…don't ask. He snatched a pair of pants.
"I was meaning to ask a favor of you," he sounded slightly embarrassed. Good ol' Flux.
"Favor? What kind?" Kuro's brow creased, he couldn't help but sound skeptical.
"If you do not wish to help…" the Captain was a bit offended.
"Flux, I'm sorry. You've gotta understand that most of the 'favors' I've been asked weren't really good for my health."
"Respectable."
"So…whatcha want?"

"Kuro you can't!" Page exclaimed.
"I promised the captain I'd help. It's only a evaport down, I'll be fine."
"Actually, Kuro, I have to agree with sis. You're not fully repaired."
"I'm repaired enough. So far everything works, I'll be OK."
"We're ready," Aquene announced, at the same time flirting with Kuro. He rolled his eyes and stepped onto the evaporter.
"Maybe this isn't such a good idea," Kitty replied nervously. She hated this thing.
"Don't be such a baby," Kuro snapped. He was scared out of his wit, but Kitty didn't have to know that.

Everything was red. A rusty sandstorm was brewing. Kuro had to magnify his vision 56 times just to see. In the distance a bubble lay in the middle of the vast maroon desert. In hyper drive it took no time to get to it.
It was odd how inside the plexy-glass an entire world seemed to be laid out…with only one exception. There was red in this world too only it wasn't dust.
"Kuro come in!" his communication device started to work.
"I'm here." he answered. "It looks like there's been a war. I'll contact you when I wanna evaport outta here." he turned it off. He was about to search the dome surface for a door when… PLOP. It was just like a bubble. "Damn." he got up and looked around. Inside he could feel Kitty crying. So much death and destruction, Kuro couldn't help but smile.
"It's beautiful," he muttered with an evil grin. Kitty gave him a mental slap. Kuro shook his head and watched his hand meld from a violet back to its normal colour. His sensitive ears picked up a faint cry not too far away. "What could survive this mess?" He went to its aid. Covering the wounded creature he pulled out his PAL.
"Two ta evaport!" he commanded. "And get the MED's!" SHIMMER.

The Captain, Mage, Page, and the doctors looked at him confused. How could they save…that?
"What're you waiting for?!" Kuro…well more like Kitty, wanted to know. At first there was no reply.
"Um, there isn't anything there," Page whispered.
"Of course there is! Can't you see it?!"
"Kuro, maybe you need to recharge," Mage tugged at his shirt.
"MY BATERY IS FINE!"
Flux touched where the so called patient should be.
"No animal is in that location," he confirmed.
"Well of course not, now! You scared it away!"
The twins looked at each other worriedly. The rest of the room was just perplexed.
"I knew he shouldn't have gone!" Page burst breaking the silence.

The twins lead Kuro to his quarters.
Page wanted to stay with Kuro, but he wouldn't allow it. He had a sudden urge to be alone. Once she left Kuro sat down.
"I know I saw something," he began to doubt his own words. At that moment he heard the skittering of tiny claws dashing past. He sat still, wondering if it was his imagination, or even the virus, playing hockey with his mind. His sanity being the puck.
No. It was real. He could feel its hot breath steaming the hairs on his neck. Kuro swallowed. He was afraid to look behind him. Whatever that creature was…it was evil.

"Do you think Kuro's ok?" Page asked her brother, putting her olive on the napkin beside the frosted glass she nervously twirled in her other hand.
"Sure, he'll be fine," Mage reassured her.
"If you say so," she gave an unsure smile. She downed the last of her drink, as Mage absentmindedly stuffed the silverware in his pocket
"Ready to go?" he asked her.
Once outside Mage popped the olive into his mouth. A loud shout filled the corridors. It sounded like it was coming from the civilian sector. They rushed to the scene.

The twins stood there amongst the mass of bodies for a minute, watching the violet devil feasting on the dead flesh…at least they hoped it was dead. Mage whimpered like a scared puppy. It's head whipped into their direction. Fresh blood oozed from its mouth, red eyes glared at them, and the third one on its forehead blinked. It sniffed towards them its tail whipping with its wings. Mage blacked out.
Page would have helped him, but all she could do was stare at the demon. It walked up to her. She stood perfectly still as it sized her up, making circles around her. Page would have swallowed too if she could move. The devil stopped directly behind her, putting his nose in her hair. She could feel the tiny gushes of air puffing on her neck.
Mage slowly came to. He looked to Page. She had her eyes squeezed shut, the demon way to close to her. He jumped up and did the first thing that came to mind. He spit out the olive he'd been sucking on into his hand.
"Like a rock," he whispered throwing it at the evil mass. It immediately noticed the rapidly hardening olive sailing towards its head. ZAP! A lavender laser sprung from its third eye and tadah one well done magic olive. It's ashes floated softly to the ground. Mage was ready to pass out again, but he knew he couldn't. Instead he backed up a few paces. The devil took glances from one twin to the other. It's eyes widened in slight terror and it took flight. In no time it was gone. Page looked relieved as Mage took his opportunity to head for the nearest restroom.

When Mage had finished they ran to Kuro's quarters. It was empty. The entire room looked as if it had been ransacked…then again, knowing Kuro, it always did.
"Oh my God! It got Kuro!" Page shrieked noticing the tattered clothing on the floor.
"Let's hope so," Mage muttered. A darker possibility roamed his mind. He shook it off. "We need to tell the captain."

Mage and Page stumbled into the Captain's quarters. The demon flew past them. Page went after it as Mage came to aid the mortally wounded Flux.
"Tell Katherin," he began dryly.
"Don't talk," Mage warned him looking around franticly for something to stop the excessive bleeding. Flux put his hand on the man's shoulder to stop him.
"Tell her, that her apology is excepted." He lost his grip and fell back to the ground.
"Damn."

"That thing is fast," Page huffed as Mage came back out. He was pale.
"He's dead."
"Oh no." She hugged him "I'm sorry."
"I couldn't do anything."
"It's ok," Page whispered. "We'll find that thing and we'll avenge everyone." She could feel him nod slowly.
"Uh Page?" Mage said after a long silence, he was still hugging her. "We may not have to." The thing landed not far, enough, away. "Cover me!" he yelled shoving a fistful of silverware into Page's hands as he let go. He chanted a few words as she got out of the way. A large white sphere of energy shot from his palms. The thing watched it fly to it, then caught the orb. It wound up ready to pitch a no hitter.
"Shit." Mage ducked and the ball flew over his head. "Page?"
"Yeah?" she was already throwing things at the violet devil.
"What's that spell? Y'know the one with all the words in it?"
"Not helping!"
"The one that summons ethereal creatures."
"The true ogre spell?"
"Yeah that's it!" He mumbled a few lines then looked blank.
"Well?!" Page yelled at him. She was running out of things to throw.
"What's that last line?"
"I summon you creature of aid?"
"No the other one."
"True ogre come forth!"
"Thanks. True ogre come forth!" Just then a large beast assembled itself from the dead that surrounded it. As soon as it sprouted wings the beast rose into the air. The purple devil fallowed suit. An aerial attack commenced. When all was finished the true ogre slammed into the devil's back. After catching him aflame, it landed in front of Mage awaiting further instructions.
"That was awesome!" Page exclaimed. A little too soon though. The demon began rolling around on the ground, putting itself out. The true ogre was ready to strike again when Mage stopped it. What was before them wasn't the devil creature. It was Kuro.
He stood up, a little black smoke arising from his unscarred completely nude body. He coughed out more smoke and looked at the twins, completely mystified by how he got there.
"What?"

While he was captured Lex planted a virus on him. This virus did more to him than he thought. Now he has something evil swelling inside him…and it wants out.
